I’m Susan Seale,

lifelong music teacher offering music education for children & teens.

The founder of Musicalia  & author of Growing Grounded: Movement & Songs to Organize the Brain

I believe that by educating and engaging children in a cooperative, respectful learning environment with a focus on nurturing healthy brain-body development and wholeness of spirit,  we lay the foundation for emotionally resilient, loving, respectful, creative, grounded, grown-up people.

I also believe it’s never too late to learn music and you’re never too old to bring music-making into your life.   I created Voices! community choir for adults to experience the joy of singing with others & making music with the voice.  Click here for more info about the Musicalia Voices! Choir.

Gratitude and Acknowledgement

I live, work and play on the unceded traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples and the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.  I wasn’t born here (originally from the prairies) but I feel a deep connection to the birds and the beaches.  I love living near the Salish Sea!
