For Children & Adults
Private lessons in your home
Fall registration has begun!
If you’re looking for an after school time slot, I have availability.
(for the first time in 14 years!)
This year several long term students graduated,
which has opened up spaces for younger students.
This is the perfect time to begin lessons with me!

Dear Parents,
When you’re ready to explore what in-home lessons would look & feel like for your family,
please feel welcome to contact me. (contact form here)
Typically, you invite me to your home for an initial introduction with you, me and your children.
We’ll have a lesson (no charge) so you see me in action and your son or daughter can experience what a lesson might feel like.
I’m excited to invite new families into my musical community over the summer and hope that yours will be one of them!
with musical anticipation!
Susan
For Adults
Welcome!
I’m Susan Seale,
lifelong music teacher offering music education for children & teens, teachers, adults & seniors.
The founder of Musicalia & author of Growing Grounded: Movement & Songs to Organize the Brain
I believe that by educating and engaging children in a cooperative, respectful learning environment with a focus on nurturing healthy brain-body development and wholeness of spirit, we lay the foundation for emotionally resilient, loving, respectful, creative, grounded, grown-up people.
I also believe you’re never too old to bring music-making into your life. That’s why I created Voices! community choir for adults to experience the joy of singing with others & making music with the voice. Click here for more info about the Musicalia Voices! Choir.
I also offer personalized private music lessons for adults and seniors.

Gratitude and Acknowledgement
I live, work and play on the unceded traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples and the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. I wasn’t born here (originally from the prairies) but I feel a deep connection to the birds and the beaches. I love living near the Salish Sea!
